Jims Bio:
Jim has had an incredible real-life music education,
and is an extaorinarily talented musician / producer / engi -
neer /arranger. He calls himself a Frequencist, which is this
new breed of the 'all-in-one' writer-producer pheonominan we
are seeing today. Jim is the son of a preacher, and grew up
playing music in church, but always had a taste for the fringe
styles of music and Rock. Playing onstage since the age of
ten, forming gigging Rock bands in highschool, and playing
prominent nightclubs in the Bay Area durring the 1980's
doing instrumental Rock/Fusion. Then Jim got a job at a local
recording studio which did a lot of Gospel and Choral music.
Jims contacts made durring this time led him into a 'Band-
Director' position at a larger local church, where he also did
arranging and orchestrating. Jim worked closely with Joe Linn,
a prominent Gospel producer, and learned much about the
genre from him. Jim has also worked closely with Brad Gillis
of Ozzie Osbourne and Night Ranger fame. Brad and Jim
have done a lot of music for TV sports shows, including
ESPN, Fox, and CBS, as well as composing and producing
the sound score for two Tiger Woods video games for
EA Sports. In 1996 Jim recieved a CLIO award in the
'Music Adaptation-Radio' category.
